Bukit Melawati
Historically, Kuala Selangor has been around since the 16th century. This area is under the command of the Imperial Government of Malacca and then under the administration of Johor.
Fort history began when the collapse of the Dutch East India Company after the war to the British-Dutch-4 (1780-1784). When the Dutch influence is gone, Selangor has again ruled by Johor and Riau have also been attacked Malacca under the rule of the Netherlands but failed. The Netherlands was raided and arrested Kuala Selangor in July 1784.
During the attack, Fort Melawati destroyed but was rebuilt and named the fort Altingsburg Belanda.Setahun takes its name after Governor-General, on June 28, 1785, with the help of his brother Sultan Ibrahim, Dato 'Permatang Mahabijaya and Treasurer Abdul Majid defeated Pahang Netherlands in the attack at night.
