Underwater World Langkawi is one of the largest marine aquarium in Southeast Asia. Since beginning operations on 26 August 1995, it has become one of the tourist destinations of Langkawi and has attracted a large number of foreign tourists and local.
The concept and main theme of the Underwater World Langkawi is for Knowledge,
Education and Entertainment. It was built to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the forms of our precious water of life, making a deep understanding of the bond integral and between man and nature.
Underwater World Langkawi is like a giant 15 meter-long walk through the tunnel, which consisted of 500,000 liters of sea water-filled houses, huge fish and sea creatures including the Giant Green Turtle.
